Part-Time Mental Health Worker

Reconnect is offering seven part-time permanent positions in a role focused on mental health services. The Mental Health Worker will bridge client relationships, initiate services at intake, and collaborate with other providers. This position is essential for supporting clients' mental health goals and navigating complex community resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Initiate services to clients at point of intake

• Develop respectful, trusting relationships with clients

• Support client service plans in partnership

• De-escalate crisis situations safely and thoughtfully

• Maintain accurate and complete clinical records

Requirements:

• Minimum Community College Diploma in social services

• At least two years of experience in mental health services

• Knowledge of mental health and addiction issues

• Experience in crisis intervention and risk assessment

• Familiarity with community resources and relevant legislation
