Job Description
Our client is looking for a compassionate and reliable Senior Caregiver to assist an elderly gentleman in his home. The ideal candidate will provide support to ensure his comfort, safety, and well-being before the arrival of his primary caregiver.
Job Requirements- Schedule:
8:00 AM – 11:00 AM, 7 days a week (flexible availability preferred) - Weekend Coverage:
Additional shifts on weekends will be needed - Flexibility:
Preferred for timing adjustments as needed
- Morning Assistance:
Help with breakfast, medication reminders, dressing, shaving, and other personal care needs. - Immediate Support:
Assist with getting up and using the washroom safely. - Sleep Protection:
Ensure patient’s rest is undisturbed by external interruptions (e.g., staff or other visitors).
- Previous experience in senior care, home care, or as a personal support worker (PSW) preferred.
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to the needs of seniors.
- Ability to assist with mobility and personal care tasks.
- Reliable and punctual with strong communication skills.
