This full-time, unionized role focuses on holistic family assessments using Indigenous approaches to care. You'll work collaboratively with families to set goals and provide long-term counseling alongside crisis support. Engage actively with the community, ensuring a caring and culturally responsive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process service requests professionally and holistically
• Conduct family assessments using the Family Healing Model
• Provide play intervention strategies for children
• Offer long-term counseling with case management
• Connect families to appropriate community resources
Requirements:
• Post Secondary Education in a related field
• Training in a therapeutic modality like Family Work
• Direct clinical experience with children and families
• Strong knowledge of Indigenous healing practices
• Excellent counseling and communication skills
Use your skills to make a genuine impact on children's mental health in Toronto’s Indigenous community.
