This temporary full-time position offers the opportunity to independently adjudicate early intervention and long-term disability claims. You'll assess eligibility, develop case management plans, and communicate with claimants and healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities:
• Review documentation for claims and assess rehabilitation
• Interview claimants and employers as needed
• Proactively manage claims to minimize disability durations
• Coordinate with healthcare providers and third-party professionals
• Maintain ongoing communication with all stakeholders
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in Kinesiology, Psychology, or related discipline
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in disability management
• Associate, Life and Health Claims designation is an asset
• Proficiency in English for non-francophone groups
• Background check required upon successful hiring
