In this full-time, permanent role, you will focus on holistic care and support for children and families, utilizing Indigenous approaches and working closely with community resources. Engage in family healing through assessments and co-create actionable goals.
Your role will also include crisis support and collaborative care to reinforce community ties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure service requests are addressed in a holistic manner
• Conduct assessments with families using cultural knowledge
• Implement child play strategies for effective intervention
• Provide interpersonal counseling and crisis advocacy
• Document case progress and coordinate support services
Requirements:
• Education in Social Work or related field
• Familiarity with Indigenous community services
• Clinical experience with children in a clinical setting
• Teamwork skills with effective communication abilities
• Knowledge of NCFST mission and values
