Position: Sunnybrook High Risk Antepartum Registered Nurse
Become a vital part of perinatal care at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre as a Registered Nurse focusing on High Risk Antepartum. This position entails specialized nursing for women with high-risk pregnancies.

The RN will report directly to the Patient Care Manager and is responsible for providing antepartum and postpartum care, including support for pregnancy termination and bereavement. Key functions include patient assessment, education, discharge planning, and collaboration with an interprofessional team. Upholding the philosophy of Family-Centred Maternity Care is crucial in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and provide care for high-risk antepartum patients

• Facilitate perinatal bereavement support services

• Promote patient advocacy and education throughout care

• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team for best outcomes

• Ensure maintenance of all required credentials

Requirements:

• Full registration with the CNO is essential

• Recent experience in high-risk obstetric nursing

• Gynaecology nursing experience required

• CPR and NRP certifications needed

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
