Life Labs is on the lookout for a Lab Patient Technician who can work flexible hours part-time. Responsibilities include patient interaction, conducting phlebotomies, and preparing specimens for testing. The role includes a requirement for transportation. Candidates should excel in communication and possess strong problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and inform patients for specimen collection

• Perform phlebotomies and basic ECG procedures

• Handle special test collections and document processes

• Maintain effective client communication during visits

• Prepare and organize specimens for laboratory analysis

Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited Laboratory Assistant program

• Familiarity with phlebotomy techniques is advantageous

• Excellent typing skills, at least 40 wpm

• Strong empathy and flexibility in stressful situations

• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
