Porter in Patient Transport Services

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport patients to appointments within the hospital

• Assist patients to and from transport equipment

• Record patient transport details accurately

• Ensure transport equipment is clean and functional

• Perform duties related to mailroom and other assignments

Requirements:

• Successful completion of secondary school

• Minimum of 1 year patient interaction experience in healthcare

• Recent experience as a Patient Transport Porter preferred

• Capable of lifting and caring for patients

• Familiarity with health and safety regulations
