Registered Massage Therapist

Role Description  This is a part-time, on-site role for a Registered Massage Therapist based at MHP Spine & Wellness Centre in Etobicoke, ON. The therapist will provide therapeutic and body massage treatments tailored to individual client needs, including techniques that support pain relief, mobility, and overall wellness. Day-to-day tasks include assessing client concerns, creating treatment plans, maintaining accurate clinical records, and educating clients on stress management and self-care strategies.

The role involves collaborating with other wellness professionals, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment, and delivering consistent, client-focused service. Evening or weekend preferred to meet client scheduling needs.

Qualifications

Therapeutic Massage and Body Massage skills, with the ability to adapt techniques to varied client needs.

Experience with Shiatsu or similar modalities that complement therapeutic massage approaches.

Strong Customer Service skills, with a focus on building trust and maintaining professional client relationships.

Knowledge of Stress Management techniques and the ability to integrate them into treatment and client education.

Current registration and good standing with the relevant massage therapy regulatory body (CMTO).

Graduation from an accredited massage therapy program and eligibility to practice in Ontario.

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary wellness team and follow clinic protocols.

Strong communication, time management, and documentation skills; comfort with electronic charting systems is an asset.
