Position: Part Time Lab Patient Technician Role

Life Labs is looking for a Part Time Float Lab Patient Technician who thrives in a caring environment. Your responsibilities will span greeting patients, conducting phlebotomies, and preparing specimens for transportation. This role includes maintaining relationships with clients and supporting an impactful healthcare team across various patient service centers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and explain specimen collection processes

• Perform phlebotomies and manage ECG tracings

• Execute special test collections and document results

• Respond to inquiries and ensure client satisfaction

• Prepare specimens for testing and transportation

Requirements:

• Graduate from an approved Laboratory Assistant program

• Phlebotomy experience preferred

• ECG training or experience is an asset

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Minimum typing speed of 40 wpm
