Casual Pharmacy Technician

Position: Casual Pharmacy Technician at CAMH

As a key member of the Pharmacy Operations team, you'll report to the Manager of Inpatient Pharmacy Operations.

Your role involves dispensing medication, maintaining inventory, and compounding pharmaceutical products within a computerized system to ensure patient safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle unit-dose dispensing and ward stock maintenance

• Ensure timely delivery of medications to patients

• Oversee purchasing and inventory controls

• Monitor usage and expiry dates of medications

• Participate in quality improvement and risk management efforts

Requirements:

• Must be registered with the Ontario College of Pharmacists

• Hospital experience preferred

• Expertise in pharmacy mathematics and practices

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Bilingualism in French/English is advantageous
