Transform lives as a Mental Health Clinician for Transitional Aged Youth at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto. Empower clients to navigate mental wellness with expertise in therapeutic modalities.
This full-time role focuses on supporting outpatients aged 18 to 30 facing mental health challenges. You will engage in triage, mental health assessments, and collaborative treatment planning in an interprofessional team environment. With your excellent interpersonal skills, you'll connect with clients, enhancing their recovery journey through individual and group therapies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate clinical care for diverse mental health challenges
• Complete mental health assessments and treatment plans
• Provide culturally sensitive individual and group therapies
• Develop links with community services for continuity of care
• Promote a trauma-focused, equity-centered client approach
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Nursing, Social Work, or related field
• Current registration in a relevant regulatory college
• 3 years of experience in mental health
• Knowledge of crisis intervention and psychiatric disorders
• Strong organizational and communication skills
