Become an integral part of the inpatient rehabilitation team as a Physiotherapist dedicated to patient-centered care. Your focus will be on enhancing functional abilities and ensuring successful discharges into the community.
In this role, you will assess patients, develop tailored care plans, and assist families with essential education. Engage with an interdisciplinary team to improve quality initiatives, while supervising Physiotherapist Assistants and contributing to the education of students in clinical settings. This position demands strong interpersonal communication, professional judgment, and effective time management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive assessments for rehabilitation needs
• Design individualized care plans focusing on occupational performance
• Deliver education to patients and their families
• Monitor and track patient progress, modifying care as needed
• Collaborate in team meetings and quality improvement sessions
Requirements:
• Completion of an accredited Physiotherapy program
• Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
• A year of relevant clinical experience preferred
• Experience in musculoskeletal therapy and active reconditioning
• Exceptional communication and judgement skills
