This regular 0.8 FTE role focuses on delivering comprehensive psychological services to youth and families in Extensive Needs Service (ENS). As part of a specialized team, you'll engage in assessments, interventions, and support, with opportunities for collaborative program development and family-based care.
Your role emphasizes trauma-informed practices and contributes to evolving models of pediatric disability care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide assessments and individual therapy for children and youth
• Collaborate with behavior analysts on comprehensive care plans
• Consult with interdisciplinary teams for holistic service delivery
• Conduct family assessments and interventions when needed
• Deliver education to team members on psychological practices
Requirements:
• PhD in Psychology with registration from CPBAO
• Experience treating children with behavioral challenges
• Skills in trauma-informed interventions preferred
• Strong clinical formulation and treatment planning abilities
• Familiarity with neurodevelopmental disabilities is crucial
