Laboratory Assistant

Position: Dynacare Laboratory Assistant (Contract)

As a Laboratory Assistant at Dynacare, you will efficiently process blood samples while maintaining high customer service standards. Your responsibilities include accurate data entry and performing necessary specimen collections such as ECGs and drug tests. This position offers guaranteed 15 hours per week on day shifts, making it ideal for those seeking part-time work with a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and manage laboratory specimens effectively

• Enter patient information and testing requisitions accurately

• Conduct procedures like venipunctures and specimen collections

• Ensure compliance with handling protocols and SOPs

• Uphold patient confidentiality and quality standards

Requirements:

• Completed Secondary School and Lab Assistant training

• Skills in phlebotomy and patient interaction

• Strong attention to detail in fast-paced settings

• Excellent verbal and written English skills

• Recommended MLPAO/CSMLS Certification
