Sinai Health is hiring an Orthopaedic Technician Assistant for the Department of Surgery’s Division of Orthopaedics at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto. As part of this teaching institution, you will work with experienced surgeons focusing on trauma and musculoskeletal oncology. Responsibilities include applying casting materials, handling dressing changes, and maintaining bracing systems for optimal patient recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate application and removal of casts and bracing materials

• Conduct complex dressing changes as per surgical guidelines

• Maintain traction equipment and monitor limb status

• Assist in evaluating X-rays for casting purposes

• Carry out additional responsibilities as needed

Requirements:

• Completed college diploma in a relevant field

• At least 1 year of related experience

• Active registration with Canadian Society of Orthopaedic Technologists

• Prior clinic training preferred

• Demonstrated commitment to reliable patient service
