Oncology Pharmacist

Position: Oncology Pharmacist at Ontario Health
Lead cancer funding policy development as an Oncology Pharmacist with Ontario Health in Ontario. Your expertise in oncology and drug reimbursement will play a critical role in improving patient outcomes and funding processes.

As a full-time, temporary role, you will spearhead clinical content development and implementation of new cancer funding policies. Collaborating with various stakeholders, including Ontario Cancer Leads and ministry representatives, you will engage in strategic planning and advisory roles. Your focus will be on reviewing funding requests and overseeing the claims adjudication system for timely notifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead clinical content development for cancer drug funding policies

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and Ontario Cancer Leads

• Review funding and adjudication rules within eClaims system

• Support timely implementation of new drug funding policies

• Assess cancer drug funding requests in a time-sensitive manner

Requirements:

• Degree in Pharmacy; registration with Ontario College of Pharmacists

• Minimum three years experience in oncology or drug benefit management

• Knowledge of cancer drug reimbursement and public healthcare systems

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
