Occupational Therapist for Neonatal Clinic

In this role, you will report to the Patient Care Manager and be deeply involved in quality improvement initiatives while using standardized measures and evaluations. You will also conduct educational in-services to support clinical development and ensure best practices in pediatric outpatient care. It is essential to provide mentorship for both related therapy students and interprofessional students in connection with Sunnybrook's affiliation with the University of Toronto.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments and interventions for neonatal patients
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for optimal care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evaluations
• Provide clinical training and educational support
• Act as a resource for students and staff
Requirements:
• MSc in Occupational Therapy required
• Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
• Ambulatory pediatric clinical experience necessary
• Knowledge of developmental challenges in children
• Strong team collaboration and leadership skills
Utilize your clinical expertise to improve outcomes for children in the Neonatal Follow Up Clinic.
