Doctor Care is hiring a Medical Billing Specialist to join the Customer Operations team. As our new Medical Billing Specialist, you will play a key role in helping physician practices maximize billing accuracy, resolve complex claim issues, and deliver exceptional service to our customers. Working across medical billing, customer support, and practice optimization, you will investigate billing questions, identify revenue opportunities, liaise with the Ministry of Health, and help physicians navigate Ontario's healthcare billing requirements with confidence.

You will serve as a trusted billing advisor, independently managing complex claims, identifying reimbursement opportunities, and providing expert guidance to physician practices.

Success in this role is about more than processing claims. You will build trusted relationships with customers, solve problems proactively, and contribute ideas that improve how we deliver our services. While experience with medical billing is valuable, we are equally interested in candidates who bring strong communication skills, curiosity, initiative, and a commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience. Comprehensive training on our billing processes and systems will be provided.

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Toronto, with an expectation of working in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

• Own complex medical billing activities. You will Independently manage billing submissions, reconciliations, rejected claims, and complex billing scenarios while ensuring compliance with OHIP policies.
