In this full-time role based at one of Canada's top community hospitals, you will work closely with the Lead Laboratory Geneticist and the Genetics Team. The position demands strong problem-solving skills and a solid background in genetics, molecular biology, or bioinformatics. Your contributions will advance teaching, learning, and innovation while ensuring adherence to health and safety policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze genetic and genomic variants from sequencing data
• Draft clinical reports based on genetic analysis
• Update knowledge on genetic variation and databases
• Implement new technologies within the laboratory
• Maintain documentation of data and processes
Requirements:
• MSc or PhD in genetics, molecular biology, or a related field
• Experience with human genomic data analysis
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Adaptability in a dynamic work environment
