Full-Time Porter

Position: Full-Time Porter at Humber River Health
Become an essential part of Humber River Health as a full-time Porter. In this role, you'll transport patients and medical supplies to support high-quality patient care in our innovative environment.

Humber River Health is seeking a dedicated Porter to join the Portering team. This position reports to the Manager of Patient Portering Services and is focused on transporting pharmacy supplies, patient records, and medical equipment. A keen attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision are crucial skills for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport patients and medical supplies across the hospital

• Handle medical/surgical equipment and other necessary items

• Dispatch services as required

• Distribute medical supply items promptly

• Collect and dispose of supplies and instruments properly

Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent

• One year related work experience required

• Strong command of English, verbal and written

• Physical ability to meet job demands

• Interpersonal skills to work effectively on a team
