As a Registered Counselling Therapist, you will assess and treat clients, coordinating care with local healthcare providers. This part-time position requires a commitment on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, working directly with a diverse client base, including individuals with addictions, mental health conditions, and other vulnerabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct individual assessments for clients
• Provide addictions counselling and therapy sessions
• Evaluate and monitor client progress and treatment
• Maintain and update patient records thoroughly
• Make referrals to medical professionals as needed
Requirements:
• Minimum three years of experience as a Registered Counselling Therapist
• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Nursing
• Professional certification from the provincial authority
• Certificate in Mental Health and Addictions Counselling
• Proof of security clearance and WHMIS certification
