Senior Companion

Be a trusted support for seniors in their homes with Sage Bond in Toronto. This role focuses on emotional and practical companionship, enhancing the lives of older adults through daily visits.

As a Senior Companion, your primary responsibility is to provide consistent social and emotional support to older adults across the Greater Toronto Area. Engage clients through conversation and activities while assisting with light housekeeping and organization tasks. You'll collaborate closely with the care coordinator to ensure adherence to care plans, helping clients maintain their dignity and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Visit clients regularly to provide companionship and support

• Assist with light housekeeping and organizational tasks

• Facilitate safe transportation to appointments and outings

• Offer medication reminders and basic technology help

• Communicate updates to care coordinators about client wellbeing

Requirements:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Empathetic and patient approach toward clients

• Ability to assist with safe transportation needs

• Reliable and organized, with effective time management

• Previous experience in caregiving or community support preferred
