Job Description

We are seeking for one (1) motivated Graduate or PhD/PharmD Co-op student to support Medical Affairs Strategy & Execution within the Oncology/Prostate Cancer therapeutic area. This 12-month co-op role will provide hands‑on exposure to a large, pharmaceutical medical affairs environment, with a focus on supporting scientific communication, healthcare professional (HCP) engagement, congress activities, medical content development, and cross-functional execution for product specific‑related work streams.

The successful candidate will work closely with Medical Affairs colleagues and cross‑functional partners to help translate scientific strategy into practical, high‑quality deliverables. This role is well suited for a graduate‑level or PhD/PharmD student who is scientifically curious, organized, collaborative, and interested in gaining applied experience in oncology medical affairs, strategic planning, and execution. This is a learning‑focused co‑op opportunity designed to build foundational experience in medical affairs while contributing to meaningful scientific and operational projects in prostate cancer.

Key Responsibilities

Medical Affairs Strategy & Execution Support Support execution of apalutamide medical affairs priorities, including activities related to prostate cancer scientific strategy, launch readiness, and cross‑functional alignment.

Assist with tracking, organizing, and following up on key deliverables across medical affairs work streams.

Help synthesize scientific and strategic information into concise summaries, trackers, and project updates for internal stakeholders.

Support development of materials that enable consistent scientific communication across internal teams and regional partners.

Capture key outputs from meeting discussions and related action items in meeting minutes for post meeting distribution (2 times per month).

HCP Engagement Support Assist with planning and execution support for HCP engagement activities, advisory boards, scientific exchange meetings, and related follow‑up materials.

Support preparation of discussion guides, pre‑read materials, insight‑capture templates, and post‑meeting summaries.

Help organize and synthesize HCP insights to inform medical strategy, content refinement, and future engagement planning.

Scientific Content and Slide Development Support development, refinement, and formatting of scientific slide decks, internal updates, and presentation materials.

Assist with ensuring consistency of scientific messaging, references, visual standards, and slide flow across materials.

Help adapt complex scientific information into clear, concise formats for internal medical affairs audiences.

Collaborate with medical, agency, and cross‑functional partners to incorporate feedback and maintain version control.

Scientific Communication Platform Support Support updates to scientific communication platform materials, including disease‑state, product, and evidence‑based content.

Assist with organizing references, reviewing content for consistency, and maintaining alignment across related communication resources.
