Population Health Informaticist (AI Training)

About The Role

We're partnering with leading AI research labs to build smarter, more accurate AI systems in the health domain — and we need population health experts to help make it happen. As a Population Health Informaticist, you'll apply your expertise in health data and analytics to evaluate, improve, and shape AI outputs that touch real-world public health decisions.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role that lets you do meaningful work on your own schedule.

What You'll Do
  • Evaluate AI-generated content and outputs related to population health data, analytics, and public health strategy
  • Collect, integrate, and assess population health metrics to identify trends, disparities, and opportunities for improving health outcomes
  • Review and provide structured feedback on data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting frameworks used in health surveillance and monitoring
  • Translate complex health data into clear, actionable insights — and assess whether AI does the same
  • Identify gaps, inaccuracies, or missed opportunities in AI-generated population health analyses
  • Support the development of data-driven strategies and programs that improve health outcomes at scale
Who You Are
  • Experienced working with healthcare, public health, or population-level datasets
  • Strong analytical thinker with solid data visualization and reporting skills
  • Able to bridge complex data and real-world stakeholder needs with clarity
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working independently and asynchronously
  • Passionate about the intersection of data, health equity, and community outcomes
Nice to Have
  • Experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation systems
  • Familiarity with public health surveillance tools or health information systems
  • Background in epidemiology, biostatistics, or health informatics
