Join the Department of Culture and Arts as a temporary Music Therapist. This role focuses on developing therapeutic programs tailored to the needs of residents, particularly for those experiencing dementia-related symptoms. Collaborate with a dedicated multi-disciplinary team to assess clients, train interns, and uphold ethical standards in music therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement music therapy programs for residents
• Interview, orient, and supervise volunteers and students
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams for holistic care
• Maintain clinical records and program documentation
• Participate in music therapy research initiatives
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Music Therapy Degree
• Accreditation as a Music Therapist (MTA)
• Experience in music therapy service implementation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Familiarity with aging populations and responsive behaviors
