Medical Radiation Technologist with CT Focus

Join Scarborough Health Network as a Medical Radiation Technologist focusing on Radiology and CT in a part-time capacity. Deliver exceptional patient care at various hospital locations.

Reporting to the Manager of Diagnostic Imaging, this role involves assessing patient needs, implementing tests, and evaluating outcomes in a collaborative care environment. Candidates will also be involved in General Radiography, equipment maintenance, and necessary documentation. A successful applicant is expected to train in Computerized Technology and achieve CAMRT CT certification in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and implement patient care plans effectively

• Evaluate diagnostic imaging techniques and outcomes

• Manage equipment maintenance and proper operation

• Prepare and maintain detailed patient information and reports

• Work with diverse teams to enhance patient services

Requirements:

• Must be registered with the Ontario College of Medical Radiation Technologists

• Experience with CT scanning preferred

• Current CPR certification is required

• Excellent organizational and communication abilities
