Join Humber River Health's Portering team as a full-time Porter, reporting to the Manager of Patient Portering Services. This role demands a proactive approach to ensure safe transportation of patients, pharmacy supplies, and medical equipment across the facility. With a focus on detail and teamwork, you will help maintain the high standards of care that our community expects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport patients and pharmacy supplies between departments

• Manage transportation of medical and surgical equipment

• Execute dispatching tasks as needed

• Distribute essential medical surgical supplies promptly

• Safely collect and dispose of instruments and other supplies

Requirements:

• Graduation from high school or equivalent

• One year of relevant experience

• Ability to communicate effectively in English

• Capability to follow instructions with minimal oversight

• Understanding of equity, diversity, and inclusion
