This temporary casual Occupational Therapist position is integral to our Allied Health Services. You will assess and provide treatments tailored to individual patient needs in both acute and post-acute settings. Your expertise will help develop discharge plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across various sites, including Wilson, Finch, and Church, during weekday shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and treat referred patients in varied settings
• Record patient assessments and progress thoroughly
• Participate in discharge planning with team members
• Supervise students from Occupational Therapy programs
• Provide consultation to other disciplines as needed
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Active registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
• Previous acute setting experience preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Commitment to equity and diversity principles in care
