Dietary Aide Role at Bayview Home

As a Dietary Aide at Extendicare’s Bayview Home in Toronto, ON, you will facilitate excellent meal service and ensure residents' satisfaction with their dining experience.

This part-time role involves serving meals based on individual dietary requirements, assisting with food preparation, and maintaining cleanliness in serving areas. You will also support the storage of dietary supplies while following safety and hygiene protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve meals to residents in accordance with their diets

• Assist Cooks with food preparation and cleanliness

• Clear trays, load dishwasher, and clean utensils

• Participate in food storage and labeling practices

• Assemble nourishment carts for resident convenience

Requirements:

• Enrollment/completion of a Food Service Worker Program

• Essential current Food Handler's Certificate

• Dietary experience in long-term care preferred

• Ability to remain standing for long durations

• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
