Experienced Respiratory Therapist Needed

Reporting to the Manager of Respiratory Therapy, this position calls for a Registered Respiratory Therapist who thrives in high-pressure environments such as the Emergency Department and the Ross Tilley Burn Centre. Your skills in ventilation management, airway procedures, and participation in trauma situations will significantly improve patient outcomes. Additional roles include educating up-and-coming professionals in respiratory therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage ventilation strategies and discharges

• Play a pivotal role in Code and Trauma Teams

• Execute airway management and assist with intubations

• Administer necessary respiratory care for patients

• Guide and mentor assigned students consistently

Requirements:

• Must be registered with CRTO

• Hold a Degree or Diploma from a recognized program

• BCLS certification must be current

• Previous experience in Acute Care environments needed

• Proficient in clinical decision-making and teamwork skills
