In this permanent part-time role, you will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy. Responsibilities include assessing clients' needs and recommending solutions to support safe living. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy with practical experience that facilitates therapeutic interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide tailored therapy to promote daily living independence
• Assess patient environments for safety and accessibility
• Educate families and clinical teams on treatment plans
• Engage in interdisciplinary rounds and quality initiatives
• Implement best practices in occupational therapy delivery
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
• 2-5 years of relevant hospital experience
• Experience with spinal cord injuries preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
