Full-Time Health Promoter

Position: Full-Time Health Promoter at SRCHC
Join South Riverdale Community Health Centre as a Health Promoter for the Mobile Health Clinic and Women’s Clinic. This full-time role focuses on health education and promoting access to primary care services.

As a Health Promoter, you will coordinate health promotion initiatives within diverse East Toronto communities. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, your key role includes enhancing access to health services while addressing the needs of vulnerable populations. Be prepared to engage with the community both in-person and through outreach activities, reflecting our commitment to health equity and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate health promotion programs with community partners

• Provide health education to diverse populations

• Facilitate access to primary care for priority groups

• Support the operation of the Mobile Health Clinic

• Advocate for community health access and resources

Requirements:

• Post-graduate degree in health or social science

• 3-5 years in health promotion or education

• Minimum 2 years of driving experience

• Strong communication and facilitation skills

• Knowledge of community resources in Taylor Massey
