Community Care Clinical Counsellor Role

As a member of the Community Care team, you will apply your expert knowledge in mental health and addictions to provide comprehensive assessments and case management. This role is designed for those with a passion for social justice and equity, allowing you to develop customized treatment plans and facilitate crisis interventions aligned with anti-oppressive practices. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform psychosocial and psychological assessments for clients
• Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans
• Facilitate therapeutic counselling and group support experiences
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for continuous care
• Maintain accurate and timely client records and documentation
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Social Work or relevant field required
• Registration with applicable professional bodies essential
• At least 3 years of direct practice in mental health services
• Experience with crisis intervention and harm reduction approaches
• Strong interpersonal communication skills necessary
