Part-Time Kinesiologist at UHN

Make a difference in cancer rehabilitation as a part-time Kinesiologist with UHN at Toronto General Hospital. Focus on exercise education and assessment for cancer survivors in this temporary position.

As part of the Cancer Rehab and Survivorship Program, this Kinesiologist will deliver essential clinical education and oversee exercise sessions for patients. You'll conduct assessments, develop individualized exercise plans, and facilitate patient adherence to healthy practices in a collaborative healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patient fitness and functional capacity

• Develop and adjust exercise programs based on outcomes

• Conduct and supervise exercise classes for patients

• Perform vital sign monitoring throughout sessions

• Document progress and manage quality assurance tasks

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Kinesiology or equivalent required

• At least 2 years of relevant practical experience

• Current registration with COKO in good standing

• Excellent assessment and communication abilities

• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with Epic software
