As an Activation Aide, you will enhance the quality of life for residents through active program facilitation. From planning activities to collaborating with therapy programs, your work will foster an enriching community. Through assessments and evaluations, you will ensure care meets each individual’s goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and facilitate engaging community activities

• Assess resident needs and establish intervention goals

• Document programming activities and resident progress

• Connect with therapy programs to enhance offerings

• Complete all assigned duties effectively

Requirements:

• Post-secondary qualification in recreation, gerontology, or related field

• Current First Aid and CPR certification

• Valid Food Handlers Certificate necessary

• Previous experience in planning and evaluation

• Compliance with provincial police and screening requirements
