VP Programs and Services / Chief Nursing Executive Duration: 8 Weeks Hybrid
Our client is seeking a highly experienced interim leader to accelerate several critical access and flow initiatives. This short-term mandate will focus on improving registration, booking, and intake processes; supporting recruitment of a new Manager, Access and Flow; refining ALC processes and policies; and preparing the organization for a new eReferral adoption across five clinics.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced healthcare operations, transformation, access and flow, or patient access leader who can quickly assess current state challenges, drive clarity, engage stakeholders, and deliver practical implementation-ready solutions.
Key Responsibilities Access & Flow Process Improvement- Lead the completion of priority activities related to registration, scheduling, booking, referral intake, and client communication processes.
- Validate role clarity, accountabilities, workflows, and decision-making pathways.
- Develop implementation tools, SOPs, service standards, training materials, and readiness supports.
- Support recruitment planning and launch activities for the Manager, Access and Flow position.
- Develop recruitment materials, interview frameworks, evaluation criteria, and onboarding plans.
- Review and refine ALC workflows, policies, procedures, escalation pathways, and supporting tools.
- Develop implementation-ready recommendations and identify approval and governance requirements.
- Create a project and change management plan supporting eReferral implementation across five clinics.
- Conduct readiness assessments, stakeholder engagement, communications planning, training preparation, and adoption measurement planning.
We are seeking a leader who brings:
- Significant healthcare operations, access and flow, patient access, intake, scheduling, or clinical transformation experience.
- Strong project management and change management expertise.
- Experience leading complex multi-stakeholder initiatives in healthcare environments.
- Demonstrated success developing operational policies, procedures, workflows, and implementation plans.
- Experience with digital health initiatives, referral management systems, and clinical workflow optimization.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to deliver results quickly within a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
