Personal Support Worker

Position: Personal Support Worker at Cota Health
Enhance the quality of life for clients with Cota Health as a Personal Support Worker. Provide essential support in daily living activities at our Acquired Brain Injury program in downtown Toronto every other weekend.

Cota Health is seeking a dedicated Personal Support Worker (PSSW) for its ABI College view Program. The role requires providing direct 1:1 care and assistance with personal hygiene, meal support, and household management. Your contributions will help individuals maintain their independence and engage meaningfully within the community, embodying Cota's values of hope and respect.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct personal care to clients as needed

• Assist with daily living activities, including laundry and cleaning

• Maintain safety and cleanliness of shared spaces

• Document client interactions per guidelines

• Collaborate with team members for comprehensive support

Requirements:

• High School Diploma and PSW certification required

• Experience with mental health or ABI populations is an asset

• Valid First Aid/CPR and Crisis Intervention certificates preferred

• Ability to lift 10-25 lbs

• Basic computer literacy and communication skills
