Health Promoter for Women’s Clinic

Support community health initiatives as a Health Promoter at South Riverdale Community Health Centre, focusing on the Women's Screening Clinic and Mobile Health Clinic. This full-time role is essential for enhancing access to care for underserved populations in East Toronto.

In this role, you will coordinate health programming and engage with community members facing various challenges, including housing instability and mental health issues. Your responsibilities will include offering health education and advocacy while working in a flexible schedule tailored to community needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute health promotion programs

• Facilitate outreach and engagement activities

• Support diverse populations in their health journeys

• Maintain operations of the Mobile Health Clinic

• Document and evaluate program effectiveness

Requirements:

• Relevant post-graduate qualification

• Health promotion experience (3-5 years)

• Class ‘G’ driver’s license with safe driving record

• Commitment to equity and inclusivity

• Proven facilitation and collaboration skills
