Canadian Forces Physiotherapy Officer Role

In this essential position, Physiotherapy Officers are responsible for injury assessment, treatment planning, and implementing preventive strategies. You will work collaboratively within military teams, applying diverse techniques in both clinical and operational settings to support our Forces' health and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and treat various musculoskeletal conditions
• Design treatment plans for returning members to duty
• Provide advice on injury prevention techniques
• Conduct health promotion and sports injury education sessions
• Oversee reconditioning initiatives for service members
Requirements:
• Must be a licensed Physiotherapist in Canada
• Successful completion of officer training at CAF
• Proficient in manual therapies and clinical practices
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to engage in ongoing education
