Be a pivotal player in patient care as a Patient and Family Specialist s full-time position fosters meaningful engagement between families and healthcare leaders.
In this permanent role, you will report to the Senior Clinical Manager and contribute to the daily operations of the Patient and Family Experience Office and Family Resource Centre. Your responsibilities include addressing patient concerns, coordinating with clinical staff, and providing essential education and training. Uphold the values of confidentiality and discretion while enhancing patient interactions across CAMH.
Key Responsibilities:
• Connect with patients and families to gather feedback
• Offer support for complex scenarios to clinical teams
• Aid Patient Experience Coordinators in managing resources
• Analyze patient experience data for stakeholder reports
• Engage in quality improvement and risk management
Requirements:
• Holds a Master’s degree in a suitable discipline
• Experience in hospital environments preferred
• Proficient in communication with strong analytical skills
• Knowledge of conflict management or patient relations
• Bilingual capabilities in French/English viewed favorably
