Registered Pharmacist - Part Time Role

Join Humber River Health as a Part Time Registered Pharmacist and support innovative patient care. Collaborate in providing safe and effective medication distribution across multiple sites.

This role is essential in our pharmacy department’s mission to ensure the high-quality distribution of medications. As a part-time pharmacist, you will operate in a fully digital healthcare setting, managing tasks that include clinical pharmacy services and drug therapies. Availability for rotating shifts will be necessary to meet operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure safe medication distribution to clinical units

• Review physician orders and maintain patient medication profiles

• Perform prescription verification in the MEDITECH system

• Mentor pharmacy students and interns

• Carry out other pharmacy responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy;
Pharm D preferred

• Active registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists

• Hospital experience in related areas desired

• Capable of managing varied workloads effectively

• Excellent communication and teaching skills
