Position: Program and Activities Manager Role
Join Age Care as the Program and Activities Manager, where you will play a vital role in enriching the lives of seniors through engaging recreational programs. Focus on empowering residents through diverse, meaningful activities.

This managerial role requires coordination of activities that meet residents’ psychological, social, and spiritual needs. You will implement resident documentation processes, facilitate special events, and manage volunteer programs. Your expertise will help maintain a vibrant and culturally sensitive environment for seniors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee scheduling of resident recreational activities

• Support care planning and MDS coding processes

• Coordinate community events and outings

• Manage volunteer placements and programs

• Respond to resident and family inquiries effectively

Requirements:

• Relevant degree in Kinesiology or Gerontology

• Background in delivering recreational services

• Certification in safe food handling

• Preferably, a Certificate in Volunteer Management

• Ability to build strong relationships with seniors
