Lead community initiatives with PASAN as a Harm Reduction Community Care Program Coordinator in Downtown East Toronto. This role emphasizes emergency response, community education, and partnership building.
In this role, you will coordinate the daily operations of a funded community cleanup program focused on harm reduction. Working closely with diverse community members, you'll triage cleanup requests, manage schedules, and provide essential training on overdose prevention. Collaborating with local organizations is key to this position’s impact.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate implementation of community cleanup initiatives
• Triage cleanup requests from various channels
• Manage staffing assignments and supply distribution
• Conduct outreach to promote harm reduction awareness
• Facilitate team meetings for ongoing planning
Requirements:
• 3-5 years in community program delivery
• Knowledge of harm reduction and overdose prevention
• Understanding of social and economic issues affecting communities
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience in partnership building and community outreach
