Patient-Focused Pharmacist

Position: Patient-Focused Pharmacist at SHN
Pursue a career as a Patient-Focused Pharmacist at Scarborough Health Network, emphasizing medication safety and community care. This role supports patient education and collaboration.

As a Pharmacist, you will take charge of medication management and support pharmacy operations. A Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Doctor of Pharmacy is required. Engage with patients to optimize their medication adherence and contribute to a culture of inclusiveness reflective of SHN’s values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Educate patients on medication usage and safety

• Oversee pharmacy operations and technician supervision

• Maintain complete and accurate medication records

• Utilize pharmacy computer systems for effective dispensation

• Foster relationships within an inter-professional team

Requirements:

• Registered with the Ontario College of Pharmacists

• Highly motivated with excellent communication skills

• Demonstrable focus on customer service

• Experience with automated drug systems preferred

• Ability to observe confidentiality in practice
