As a Personal Support Worker, you’ll engage with residents, ensuring their comfort and dignity in a Long Term Care environment. Your responsibilities will include assisting them with daily activities, administering prescribed medications, and promoting a nurturing community spirit among residents and families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist residents with daily hygiene and grooming
• Facilitate communication through sensory aids
• Administer medications under supervision
• Ensure mobility device access for residents
• Provide ongoing social and emotional support
Requirements:
• Personal Support Worker program completion
• Compassion for seniors' needs
• Proficiency in care procedures
• Tactful communication skills
• Must pass a Vulnerable Sector Check
