Lead transformative equity initiatives as the Director of Health Equity at Sick Kids through the Provincial Council for Maternal and Child Health. This full-time position combines strategic leadership with community-driven outreach in the healthcare sector.
In this senior role, you will design and implement a provincial Health Equity Plan focused on addressing systemic barriers within perinatal and child health services. Your expertise will guide the integration of equity principles into PCMCH's operational framework. Collaboration with diverse stakeholders will be vital to ensure that programs are informed by community needs and lived experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop Health Equity Plan informed by community engagement
• Publicly report on progress toward health equity benchmarks
• Collaborate with leaders to integrate equity into services
• Address specific inequities for targeted communities
• Enhance PCMCH’s capacity through training on equity practices
Requirements:
• Graduate degree or equivalent in relevant fields
• 5-7 years leading equity and inclusion initiatives
• Proven ability to implement equity-focused strategies
• Deep understanding of Indigenous health issues and practices
• Exceptional skills in managing multi-stakeholder projects
