As part of the Food and Nutrition Services Department, the Therapeutic Diet Technician works under the Diet Systems Specialist's supervision to create individualized dietary plans. You will engage with patients to understand their food preferences and ensure compliance with dietary needs and Kashruth laws. This position requires two years of experience in a clinical setting and strong communication skills to support geriatric patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adjust meals according to dietary guidelines and preferences

• Provide detailed diet instructions to staff and patients

• Audit diet orders for accuracy and compliance

• Meet with patients for menu finalization efforts

• Report on eating habits and dietary concerns

Requirements:

• Completed a Dietary Technician diploma program

• Membership in Canadian Society of Nutrition Management

• Clinical experience in large healthcare settings

• Familiarity with computerized diet systems

• Strong interpersonal communication skills
