This temporary role focuses on assessing and treating adults facing communication disorders, providing essential care in multiple hospital programs, including ICU. Work closely with various team members to ensure high standards of patient safety and treatment, while also participating in educational support for students. Enhance patient care delivery through effective collaboration and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess patients with acute medical needs effectively
• Facilitate care for those with dysphagia
• Collaborate with the treatment team and document findings
• Supervise and mentor Speech-Language Pathology students
• Maintain accurate workload measurement data
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology or equivalent
• Registered with CASLPO
• Previous hospital experience preferred
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Advocate for inclusive care principles in practice
