VHA Home Health Care is looking for an Occupational Therapy Assistant with a strong background in geriatric care, housing a minimum of two years’ relevant experience. In this role, you will assist clients with their unique rehabilitation needs, ensuring quality care and emotional support. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with tailored exercise and mobility plans

• Supervise safe transfers and positioning practices

• Offer education and support for self-care tasks

• Monitor and communicate health updates to therapists

• Take part in quality improvement and program evaluation

Requirements:

• OTA/PTA diploma from an accredited institution

• Minimum of 2 years working in community settings

• Up-to-date First Aid and CPR certifications

• Excellent communication and guidance skills

• Strong grasp of rehabilitation techniques and principles
